64-year-old American singer Madonna and her children created a creative broken glass mural depicting a dove and a “tree of life” in Kibera. The artist shares videos and photos on her Instagram.
After celebrating the New Year 2023 in Malawi over the weekend, the mother of many children shared photos and videos of creating their creative mosaic in one of the cities of Kenya.
Madonna wrote that they created a masterpiece “in honor of the great work that Kennedy Odede is doing” for Shining Hope for Communities
The star described it as an organization that Odede “founded when he was a child living in the wilds of Nairobi to improve the lives of families living in these challenging environments.”
She continued: “Focusing on water filtration, education, lending to women and men to start businesses, and ending gender-based violence by empowering women, taking on litigation and giving them a safe space to rebuild their lives.”
Madonna went on to say that she and her children were “very impressed with his work and dedication” to this community.
The footage shows her children having fun creating a beautiful mural before exploring the largest city of Kenya.
