A villager in Maine-et-Loire discovered two dead infants under a pile of wood. The mother was found and placed in examination.
On February 19, a resident of the town of Noëllet in Maine-et-Loire made a macabre discovery. The man had just acquired a property in this village in November 2021. He was about to do some gardening when he discovered two trash bags hidden under a pile of wood. This resident did not expect to experience such a nightmare when discovering the contents of these two bags. Indeed, two bodies of infants in an advanced state of putrefaction were concealed inside.
The gendarmes of the Segré research brigade were therefore responsible for the case. After field and genetic analysis, they were able to discover that these two infants were not twins. However, they were born from the same mother. After several months of research, the gendarmes finally got their hands on the person guilty of this double infanticide. This Tuesday, June 14, a 41-year-old woman was therefore indicted. She confessed to being the mother of these two deceased newborns.

The 40-year-old therefore revealed to the court that she had given birth alone. She also explained that she had hugged her infants very tightly so that they would stop crying. This woman would therefore have killed her two children by suffocation as specified by the two magistrates. She also hid her pregnancies from her companion and father of the two victims. The 41-year-old woman said her two children were unwanted. She has since been indicted for child murder. She could therefore face life imprisonment. She is now under judicial supervision. Since the arrest of the accused, the new occupant of this house where the murders were carried out has not wanted to speak about this macabre story.
