
Man pushed onto subway tracks in Toronto, police investigate
The man who was pushed on Sunday at Yonge and Bloor station was able to climb back onto the platform (Archives).
Toronto police are investigating after a man was pushed onto the tracks of a subway station in the city on Sunday.
Authorities say the #x27;incident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Yonge and Bloor subway station in downtown Toronto.
The Man Who was pushed was able to climb back onto the platform and was not b injured.
The suspect is a man wearing a black durag, dark jacket and dark sweatpants.
He was seen last seen on the westbound station platform.
The case comes just over three weeks after Toronto police stepped up their presence on public transport following the recent violence.
