Lots of salads sold everywhere in France are urgently recalled, here are the batches concerned

The Rappel Conso site mentions a major recall on batches of salads and starters.

Grated carrots, celery remoulade, mixed vegetables… You have purchased Ready-made salads recently? Please note, a consumer recall has been issued. published on November 2, 2023. This recall may concern many French people since ready-made salads are a hit in supermarkets. Rather economical (but still less than if they are homemade), considered healthier than a sandwich, practical to eat and eat. take away, they make up many lunches and have invaded the shelves of supermarkets. Several of them are therefore the subject of a recall established at the national level, which indicates that these salads could have been sold everywhere in France.

The recall, if it was carried out voluntarily by the manufacturer and not by decree; prefectural, is all the same serious. It is thus requested not to consume the product, return it to the store for a refund, or destroy it. The batches concerned concern punnets of grated carrots, celery remoulade, mixed vegetables or tabbouleh. Most have been sold in Casino Supermarché brands. This also concerns the group's other brands: Spar and Vival for example.

The website rappel.conso.gouv.fr explains that there is a risk of the presence of a "descaling product in the water".

Do you have any doubts? Here are the batches affected by this recall:

  • Grated carrots 1Kg – Casino. Lot 33001 with use-by date 11/14/2023 and sold between 10/27/2023 and 11/01/2023.
  • Grated carrots 300g – Casino. Lot 33001 with expiration date of 11/14/2023 and sold between 10/27/2023 and 11/01/2023.
  • Celery remoulade 300g – Casino. lot 33001 with expiration date of 14/11/2023 and sold between 30/10/2023 and 01/11/2023.
  • Macedonia of Macedonia ;gumes 300g – Casino. lot 33001 with expiration date of 12/11/2023 and sold between 28/10/2023 and 01/11/2023.

Note that' another similar recall is made on trays of taboulé vegetables sold under the Bio Village brand at Leclerc. The batch number is the same: 330001 with a use-by date of November 12, 2023 and on batches sold between 10/28/2023 and November 1, 2023.

The reason for the recall is similar. Là also, it is requested not to consume the product and to return it to the point of sale for reimbursement. All the details of this recall are available on the website rappel.conso.gouv.fr.
