Maria Mashkova, the daughter of the famous actor Vladimir Mashkov, admitted that she no longer communicates with her father due to differences in views on the military special operation in Ukraine. On Instagram*, Maria told how she is experiencing conflicts in the family on political grounds, and drew attention to the fact that there are many such situations in society.
There were more complex circumstances with dad that had accumulated over his life, and we could not cope . After that conversation, we didn't talk anymore. I let go, accepted and kept love. Everyone is filled with hatred, despair and hopelessness. I guess it's also hard for him to read and look at me now,
— wrote Mashkova, admitting that the appearance of her father in public with the symbols of a special operation gives her physical pain and “love flows away”.

At the same time, according to Mashkova, she managed to keep in touch with her grandmother, although she also became thinner.
My connection with my grandmother is too strong, you can’t break it. We talk on the phone, but less and less. Something terrible, big and dead, seems to be hanging between us,
— Mashkova admitted, noting that in conversations they simply avoid the topic of a military special operation.
Maria told subscribers that in this situation she was morally supported by Andrey Loshak's documentary “Breaking Communication”, although the tape itself seemed to her not particularly optimistic.
There is no hope. Painfully. It's a pity. Especially everyone. We believe that they are in a fascist sect under the control of Solovyov-Simonyansky, and they believe that we do not understand how much America is jealous of us, which unleashed the war, and “in general, you support Bandera, Nazis, unfinished.” Vicious circle. We don't hear each other,
— wrote Mashkova, adding that the realization that she was not alone gave her strength.
May someday this gap can be sewn,
— Maria expressed hope.
