San Diego Comic-Con was also an opportunity for Marvel to unveil the official title of Captain America 4 and specify its theatrical release date.

The actor may have denied it for several months, the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier was indeed thought of as a transition and an opportunity for the character and second knife of the Avengers to change costume and gain prominence after years of quasi-figuration.
The development of a fourth component was then confirmed in August 2021, but it took until its final weeks for the project to give any concrete news. At the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel made two major announcements regarding the film.

As stated during the convention, Captain America: New World Order will therefore be the penultimate feature film of Phase 5 that will be part of the Multiverse Saga. However, the casting has not been confirmed, particularly with regard to the return of Bucky Barnes alias the Winter Soldier played by Sebastian Stan or that of Sharon Carter alias Power Broker played by Emily VanCamp. More generally, no element of the scenario written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson (already at work on Falcon and the Winter Soldier) has not been shared.
The next MCU film that will land in theaters will be Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 9 in France.
