Marvel: Chris Pratt says more about Star-Lord and Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy 3

Back for a third and final installment with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Chris Pratt reveals more about his character as Star-Lord and his relationship with Gamora.

Again, Comic-Con of San Diego was “The place to be” for Marvel fans who were able to discover a lot of exclusive content, such as the trailer for Secret Invasion, the mini-series worn by Samuel L. Jackson, who will be putting on Nick Fury's eye patch for the occasion, the Ant-Man 3 trailer, but also that of the last part of the adventures of Star-Lord, Drax, Groot, Rocket and the Rest, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

In this trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which reveals a baby Rocket and which has still not been released online (even illegally, we watched), we discover mainly two highly anticipated new characters, Adam Warlock, a genetically created superhero played by Will Poulter, as well as the Master of Evolution, the anti-hero and mad scientist played by Chukwudi Iwuji. But these first images are also interested in our heroes, Star-Lord and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) who see their budding romance compromised by memory loss and a passage to the dark side.< /p>

Indeed, after the events of Infinity War and Endgame , the beautiful Gamora, or rather her new variant, does not remember her shock team nor her love for Peter Quill alias Star-Lord. So the trailer shows that Gamora has joined the Ravagers, the group formerly led by Yondu Udonta, and according to Chris Pratt, interviewed by Collider, this separation will have consequences on the character of Star-Lord:

“Gamora is the love of his life, she is his greatest love story. After dealing with the disappearances of his mother and Yondu, Star-Lord must now deal with the loss of Gamora, the only person who truly knew and loved him. But the problem is that she doesn't recognize him. It really had a huge impact on him, personally, and his ability to be the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, more vulnerable than ever without their leader. It is at this pivotal period marked by the loss of Gamora that we find Star-Lord, clearly affected by this event. »

If this budding love story seems compromised, we doubt that James Gunn has totally given up on bringing the two characters together and we hope that Gamora will fall under the spell of Star-Lord because it would be a shame to move on to side of the cutest, even touching, love story in the MCU (yes we're talking about you Jane and Thor).

Can also be that the arrival of the big bad Master of Evolution will be an opportunity for Guardians and Ravagers to unite and fight together a common enemy, which could very clearly bring closer the two former lovers. Yes, we are romantic and we hope that the final plan of the last installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy will bring Star-Lord and Gamora together for a tender kiss like the one exchanged on Fooled Around And Fell In Love by Elvin Bishop in the first film. See you on May 3, 2023 in theaters French to find out the fate of the couple.
