Marvel: Secret Invasion trailer promises a completely paranoid alien invasion


The trailer for the Marvel series, Secret Invasion, was released during Comic-Con 2022, and it promises to be heavy.

No one said life was fair. And because it rarely is, the lucky little ones who had the opportunity to go to Comic-Con, which took place this weekend in San Diego, had plenty of time to discover in preview many teasers, trailers and other various and varied announcements in exclusivity, while the others are now forced to wait for their delayed online releases.

True to itself, Marvel has also given pride of place to its many projects. From new She-Hulk footage – which also offers a glimpse of Charlie Cox's Daredevil – to the very first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the famous studio has multiplied the surprises in order to work to the body the expectations of its aficionados. And amid this flood of new information relating to the infamous MCU Phase 4, a first look at the Secret Invasion series, carried by none other than Samuel L. Jackson, was also shown during the panel, and opens the way for a full-fledged alien invasion.

Unreleased on the web at the time of this writing, the trailer begins on speeds up as a beam of light splits the horizon, revealing an alien silhouette as it slowly approaches the ground. However, as the creature gets closer to the camera, its contours gradually abandon any form of abstraction and adopt the well-known features of Nick Fury, back on Earth after a brief stay in space.

With dark eyes and a serious tone, the character then announces the issues on which they will be based, at n There is no doubt that the different story arcs of the Disney+ series:a new threat, even more dangerous than anything the various superheroes have ever had the opportunity to face, prepares to jeopardize the earth's balance.

The screen follows Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders, James Rhodes (Don Cheadle ), and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), first introduced to the Expanded Universe as an antagonist to Captain Marvel in the eponymous film.

To these familiar faces have also been added new characters, respectively camped by Kingsley Ben-Adir, already seen alongside Charlie Hunnam in King Arthur: The Legend of Excaliburby Guy Ritchie, Emilia Clarke, the Khaleesi in person, and finally, the formidable Olivia Colman, Oscar winner for her portrayal of Queen Anne of England in The Favorite by Yorgos Lanthimos.

Pretty quickly, the issue main story of Secret Invasion is revealed: are the characters really who they say they are, or are they actually undercover Skrulls whose goal is to invade the planet? An issue mainly underpinned by actress Cobie Smulders.

Presents during the screening of the trailer, the latter applied itself to promoting the series, insinuating that it would be much darker than what Marvel had already been able to accustom its fans to (a postulate which it is nevertheless a question of wary in view of the small disappointment Moon Knight), but that it would have moreover been conceived as a true paranoid thriller.

The opportunity, according to the actress, to explore certain characters in more depth, and potentially discover them in a different light. Secret Invasion does not currently have an official release date, it will however be a question of taking your troubles patiently.
