The cast of Marvel's Ironheart series continues to grow with an actor best known for his role in Solo: A Star Wars Story.< /p>

Now that Disney has Marvel and Star Wars under its flag, the company has become a gigantic address book with actors, writers and directors passing from one license to another. This is for example the case for actor Oscar Isaac who went from Poe Dameron in Star Wars to Moon Knight at Marvel, but also Donald Glover, Paul Bettany or Lupita Nyong'o. After his Thor: Ragnarok and the last Thor: Love and Thunder, Taika Waititi should also develop a Star Wars feature film. Even Kevin Feige will drop the MCU for a while to produce a Star Wars movie.

In case anyone still had any doubts about the passing of the torch

This will also soon be the case for actor Alden Ehrenreich, who notably loaned his features to young Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story and recently joined the cast of Disney+'s Ironheart series. His role is being kept under wraps, but it could allow the actor to bounce back from the failure of the Star Wars spin-off. Before returning to Disney, the actor will notably star in the increasingly intriguing Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan, the thriller Cocaine Bear by Elizabeth Banks alongside Ray Liotta who died last May.

Maybe he will have luckier at Marvel than Star Wars

The series written by Chinaka Hodge and worn by actress Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street Could Talk, Judas and the Black Messiah) will focus on young Riri Williams, a character created in 2016 and introduced as a genius inventor 15 year old who has developed the most advanced armor since Iron Man. The new heroine will first be introduced in the upcoming MCU film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before starring opposite Anthony Ramos (Hamilton< /strong>), Manny Montana (Good Girls), Lyric Ross (This Is Us) and young Harper Anthony who all have roles unknown at this time.

Ironheart has yet to reveal a release date, but the series is expected on Disney+ in late 2022 or early 2023. < /p>
