The Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that the aircraft initially arrived in Ukraine to deliver humanitarian cargo and evacuate Turkish citizens, but got stuck for 10 months.
Two planes of the Turkish Air Force took off from Boryspil International Airport. They have been there since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. Military transport aircraft successfully reached the Kayseri air base, as reported by the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Facebook.
“Our 2 A400M aircraft, which took off from Ukraine, safely reached the home base of Kayseri,” the message says.
In addition, on Twitter, the agency reported that the planes initially arrived in Ukraine to deliver humanitarian cargo, as well as to evacuate Turkish citizens from the country in which hostilities are taking place.
Note that this was the first flight of aircraft from Boryspil airport.
Airbus A400M aircraft
Airbus A400M is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft manufactured in Europe. It began to be produced in 2011. At the moment it is in service with Turkey, Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain and other countries.
We also recall that China told how the war in Ukraine should end. Xi Jinping, during almost all meetings with European politicians, emphasizes that official Beijing is only in favor of a diplomatic settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
