Montpellier: MHSC full-back Issiaga Sylla very uncertain to play the next match against Lens

Guinean international Issiaga Sylla, who injured his adductors on Sunday against Toulouse, must undergo tests on Tuesday, January 28

Doubts exist. Injured in the adductors on Sunday during the victory in Toulouse (1-2), the Guinean left-back of Montpellier Issiaga Sylla is very uncertain to face Lens on Friday January 31 (8:45 p.m.), in the opening of the 20th day of Ligue 1.

The Guinean international (31 years old) must undergo medical examinations on Tuesday to refine the clinical diagnosis of an injury which does not appear to be serious.

Sylla was replaced in the 7th minute of play by Théo Saint-Luce who is likely to start in his place. In addition, the third left-back: Lucas Mincarelli, recovered from an ankle problem, has resumed collective training since the beginning of the week.

Kouyaté, Lecomte and Tamari rested

Two days after the comforting victory in Toulouse, on a heavy pitch, the central defender “Kiki” Kouyaté, who had not played a full match for five months, the Jordanian striker Mousa Tamari, still bothered by a foot, or the goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, upset Sunday by a back pain, were rested. This does not call into question their starting place in Jean-Louis Gasset's team, still without midfielder Jordan Ferri due to suspension.

The two young strikers: Yanis Issoufou and Axel Guéguin, victims respectively of a thigh injury and a detached pleura, are absent. And further weaken an attack, looking for the successors of Akor Adams and Arnaud Nordin.

Playmaker Téji Savanier, announced as leaving, took part in the entire session. He even offered himself a little extra time, with a free kick sequence from twenty meters. Ready to confirm his good form in front of Lens.
