Montreal: another misdemeanor committed on Anna-Paquin Street, a 3rd in less than 2 weeks
The police have been called to Anna-Paquin Street several times in recent weeks.
For the third time in less than two weeks, acts of violence have broken out in a small street in northeastern Montreal, approximately 300 meters long.
Around 4:15 a.m. Friday, shots were fired at a residence on the street Anna-Paquin, near the intersection of rue Suzanne-Giroux, in the Rivière-des-Prairies district.
No one was injured, but shortly after the attack, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) had yet to report any suspect arrests.
Police were able to speak with the occupants of the residence and a security perimeter has been established to help investigators get to the bottom of this matter.
A window was shattered by projectile fire.
There a few days ago, a van was set on fire in the entrance of a residence on rue Anna-Paquin, also located near the intersection of rue Suzanne-Giroux.
The SPVM confirmed on Friday that it was not the same residence as the one targeted by the shots, even though they are located very close to the ;one from the other.
And on March 11, around 1:20 a.m., shots were fired at a residential building on Anna-Paquin Street, this time near the intersection with rue Mariana-Jodoin.
These last two attacks had not yet been resolved on Friday. They didn't cause any injuries.
