
Montreal police find three suspects involved in shooting

Three people in their 20s were arrested by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) and charged in connection with a shooting that occurred last month last in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville.
The SPVM announced on Wednesday that it had arrested Samuel Danazarre, 23, Jackenley Louigène, 21, and Jessica Ochoa Leblanc, 27, Monday morning.
The three suspects appeared at the Montreal courthouse and face charges of firearm discharge, robbery and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, the court said. municipal police force in a press release.
In the case of Samuel Danazarre, additional charges of firearm and violation of probation and condition have also been laid , we specify.
The investigation also led to a search of a dwelling where officers seized a firearm, ammunition, cell phone, narcotics and other evidence.
These arrests follow an incident of gun violence that occurred on February 12.
Early in the morning, two men appeared from a room ;an apartment on avenue Larose in order to violently attack two other men who were inside the accommodation in the company of a woman, reports the SPVM.
This indicates that the conflict continued outside the building, near Fleury Street East, and that shots were then fired by one of the suspects towards one of the victims.
