La victim was traveling in the company of a group of motorcyclists.
A motorcyclist lost his life Sunday noon following a road trip in the Ferland-et-Boilleau sector.
The victim is a 41-year-old man from Lévis.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the man was traveling on Highway 381, along with seven other motorcyclists, when he lost control and hit the guardrail. The accident occurred on a steep curve at kilometer 67.
Resuscitation maneuvers were attempted, but were unsuccessful. His death was confirmed at the hospital.
Investigators are on the scene to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy.
