They also testified during investigation commissions at the National Assembly. In turn, they recounted the abuses they experienced as young actresses. Jacques Douillon, Philippe Garrel, or Gérard Miller have notably been singled out as men who abused their status.

Anna Mouglalis has been part of the cultural landscape for decades. As she told the newspaper Le Nouvel Obs, she often played roles of “whores” or “mysterious women”. For a long time, actresses were indeed unfortunately reduced to stereotypesaimed above all at highlighting men.
