National arrest warrant issued against high-risk sex offender

Vancouver police are asking anyone who recognizes Randall Hopley to call 911.

Vancouver police have issued a nationwide arrest warrant for Randall Hopley, 58, a high-level sex offender risk.

The man, who was last seen at 3 p.m. on November 4, did not return to his halfway house , indicates the police press release, recalling that he has committed three crimes of a sexual nature against children in the past.

His description specifies that he has brown hair, hazel eyes and that he was wearing a black coat as well as black pants and a black cap.

Randall Hopley spent almost 5 years in prison for kidnapping a three-year-old boy from Sparwood in 2011. He returned the child four days later after the having been held captive in an abandoned cottage.

He was released on parole in November 2018. At that time, Vancouver police issued a warning to public, because according to her, he still represented a danger to children.
