Near Lodève, fire breaks out in an apartment in Saint-Privat: the occupant is slightly burned

A fire broke out in a home this Saturday evening around midnight in the town of Saint-Privat near Lodève. Its occupant was slightly injured in the hands and taken to Lapeyronie hospital.

A woman was injured in the hands, during the night from Saturday to Sunday around midnight, in the town of Saint-Privat, near Lodève.

Handling of the oil stove

According to initial findings, it appears that improper handling of an oil stove was the cause of the fire. The fire that started spread to the sofa in particular. Five fire engines were deployed to contain the fire that broke out in the house above the Saint-Privat school.

The victim was taken to Lapeyronie hospital. The other occupant of the house was able to be relocated with friends.
