
New charges laid against Moncton YouTuber Stephen Blackwood

Two new charges of sexual interference with a minor under the age of 16 were laid Thursday against Stephen Blackwood, who has already been charged with sex crimes.
The charges laid on Thursday relate to acts allegedly committed in Petitcodiac on November 3 and 16.
Adjournment of the case until the week next was requested so that Stephen Blackwood could meet his new lawyer, Dustin Caissie. The next hearing has been set for March 30 at 11 a.m.
Stephen Blackwood has already been charged since February 2 with sexual assault and sexual interference in connection with an incident that happened would be produced last November in a school.
Since these charges, the RCMP has been looking for potential victims or witnesses of Blackwood's actions during the summer of 2022 in the area of Moncton.
The 37-year-old worked for nine years as a substitute teacher in Newfoundland. He also did substitute teaching at the Anglophone East School District in New Brunswick for a few months in 2022.
