New options on sexual orientation will be added in the next update of the life simulation game “The Sims 4”.
Bisexual, asexual, or aromantic people will be represented in the next The Sims 4 game update.This is developer EA's latest move to better represent the LGBTQ2+ community in its life sim title. The 12th expansion for Sims 4 – players will be able to change the sexual orientation of their avatars at any time. For example, a Sim 4 character can be attracted to women, men, both, or neither.
The settings – available to everyone with the update – can be changed from the “Create a Sim” menu, under the “Gender Selection” option.
The developer Maxis, a subsidiary of EA, has worked with the American association GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) as well as the organization It Gets Better Project, which supports members of the LGBTQ2+ community.

However, we will still have to wait before we can see non-binary characters in the game.
Mechanically, non-binary Sims does not yet exist in [The Sims 4], noted SimGuruJessica. While we've made great strides in representing non-binary Sims with the pronoun update, we recognize that pronouns are not the same as gender identities.
Fans of The Sims 4 can already, since May, have full control over the pronouns of their characters. Note also that same-sex relationships have been possible in The Sims since the series was created in 2000.

Another new feature in Sims 4 is casual sex. Characters from Sim 4 could therefore go to bed together without engaging in a romance. They are called bang-bang partners (a word used in The Sims to refer to a sexual relationship).
