The new Nissan Micra will appear in 2023 and will be a budget electric car. The hatchback with the original design will receive a 136-horsepower engine from Renault 5.
New details and renderings of the sixth generation Nissan Micra have appeared. The B-class model will be radically transformed and become an inexpensive electric car. This is reported by the Motor1 website.
The new Nissan Micra will appear in 2023 and will be developed jointly with Renault. The electric hatchback will be built on the CMF-BEV platform and will be a close relative of the new Renault 5.
Nissan Micra specifications are not officially disclosed. According to preliminary data, the length of the car will be about 4 m, width – 1.7 m, and height – 1.5 m.
Most likely, the power plant from Renault 5 will be transferred to the Nissan Micra electric car without changes. This means that it will receive a 136-horsepower engine, and its range in the top version will be about 400 km.
That is, the Micra will be better than the Nissan Leaf. It will also be cheaper: the basic version should cost around 20,000 euros.
