IN BRIEF

  • Jamel Debbouze was Camille Combal's guest on NRJ
  • And now the comedian didn't hold back to have very insolent behavior
  • Things almost got out of hand

Jamel Debbouze and Alban Ivanov lend their voices to Timon and Pumba in the film Mufasa. At the same time, the comedian also promotes his Jamel Comedy Club tour. This Wednesday, December 18, 2024, he was then present on the airwaves of NRJ, in the company of Camille Combal. But here it is that, as is his habit, Jamel Debbouze could not resist the urge to liven up the show a little.

Sending little digs at Camille Combal, the comedian ended up throwing Christmas balls, chocolates and even water at the NRJ presenter. In response, the TF1 host did the same. “You are hostile with the guests”, Jamel Debbouze says. This & what Camille Combal answers: “We don't do that to Delahousse eh”, he says, referring to the presence of his guest in 8:30 p.m. on Sunday on France 2.

And here is that the comedian did not hesitate to leave the studio to retrieve a fire extinguisher. Camille Combal, seeing the situation getting out of hand, then signed the end of hostilities: “We are a family, come let me kiss you, but as a result, we were not able to get many people on the air.”

For Fun Radio, Alban Ivanov and Jamel Debbouze returned more seriously to the film for which they lend their voices. And for the two actors, it's a childhood dream come true: “We loved being with Alban. It's a funfair for us. We find ourselves in this mythical adventure that is universal and generational. We feel like we're participating in something historical”, says Melissa Theuriau's husband.

A film lived like a dream de gosse

Comments completed by his sidekick: “With Jamel, we have a secret weapon which is improvisation so we have no difficulty embodying something other than humans. We are still held by a score that we find great, but moreover, we have our personalities and we do not hesitate to put them in as soon as we can”.

Alban Ivanov is a very happy actor: “In 2019, I didn't tell my son that I was in the film. He found out about it in the movie theater. When he heard Pumba's voice, he started turning his head and looking at me”, he relates to the microphone of Fun Radio.
