Faire de la prévention pour bien vieillir. Midi Libre – FRANCOISE TALLIEU

Le comité départemental d’éducation pour la santé du Gard va organiser en mars et avril des ateliers sur le thème "bien vieillir" à Bagnols-sur-Cèze.

Codes 30 (Gard departmental health education committee) will organize free group workshops in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Vauvert on the theme of “aging well” for people over 60. “We selected these two municipalities because they have specific needs, with a precarious and vulnerable public” emphasizes Margaux Moreau, project manager at Codes 30.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

This program, funded by Cap prévention seniors, will allow a dozen participants to address themes that they will define during an information meeting, which, for Bagnols, will take place on Friday, February 14 at 10 a.m. at the Léon-Alègre media library. “People who register must commit to all six workshops” specifies the Codes 30 representative.

A session on adapted physical activity

The themes of the workshops could focus on diet, sleep, falls, anxiety, home improvement, etc. We will not address chronic diseases. But we have a mandatory session on physical activity that we will do in partnership with the Maison du Sport Santé de Bagnols” explains the project manager. Beyond the workshops, this action aims “to direct participants towards partner associations in the area that work in the field of healthy aging”.

The Icope program will also be presented, dedicated to preventing dependency among independent people living at home, developed by the WHO (World Health Organization), which allows “to detect health problems related to vision, hearing, mobility, hearing… It's a test to do on your phone or computer. If there is a problem, you are called back on your phone” explains Margaux Moreau. A gateway to a care pathway.

Workshops (free) on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: March 7 and 14 at the Ruche numérique, March 21 at the Maison sport santé; March 28, April 4, April 11 at the Vigan-Braquet social center. Information and registration at: Tel. 04 66 21 10 11. contact@codes30.org.
