The Provence Occitane tourist office is offering a workshop “I create my vintage” at Espace Rabelais (interactive museum of Côtes du Rhône wines, Place Mallet, in Bagnols) this Saturday, December 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A moment announced as fun and immersive. For participants, it is an opportunity to dive into the world of Côtes du Rhône, with the discovery of the secrets of emblematic grape varieties such as Grenache or Syrah, which shape the reds of our renowned wine region. It is also an opportunity to travel through the art of blending.

 

Guided by the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône gardoises and the Jaugeurs de Lirac

Thanks to the explanations of the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône gardoises and the Jaugeurs de Lirac, participants will learn to recognize, observe, smell and taste the particularities of each grape variety. Then, like real oenologists, they will make their own blend using beakers and test tubes to design their personalized vintage.
Each participant will leave with their creation, a unique bottle, to be left to rest for at least six months before being able to taste it.
