Bienvenue chez les ch'tis (TF1, 9:10 p.m.)

Philippe Abrams (Kad Merad) is the director of the Post Office in Salon-de-Provence. He hopes to get a transfer to the seaside. He gets it, but to the North Sea. A decision that upsets him. How will he, the southerner, be able to bear such an exile?? That is the whole point of this film full of humor and tenderness.
Dany Boon has succeeded in his bet with this feature film and we must not forget that the latter has largely exceeded 20 million admissions at the cinema in France.
And in the middle, flows a river (Arte, 9 p.m.)
Arte offers us a gem this Sunday evening. From the synopsis provided by Colubmia Pictures:
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Adapted from Norman Maclean's classic memoir, growing up, Norman and his brother Paul rebel against their strict father, an authoritarian pastor. While Norman channels his rebellion into writing, Paul embarks on a slippery path to self-destruction.
This film, directed by Robert Redford, is a must-see, especially for its impressive cast: Brad Pitt, Craig Sheffer, Tom Skerritt, and Brenda Blethyn.
The Code Has Changed (W9, 9:10 p.m.)
While TF1 is pulling out Bienvenue chez les ch’tis, W9 doesn’t intend to be left behind and is offering us a comedy with Dany Boon. Here we are the witnesses of a dinner, where each guest tries to keep up appearances. This total lack of authenticity in each of them ends up revealing their flaws…
Without being a masterpiece, this film is still enjoyable to watch and has a quality cast. In addition to Dany Boon, we find Karin Viard, Patrick Bruel, Marina Foïs, Pierre Arditi, and many other surprise guests.
That's all for this week. Note, if these three films are not to your taste, that there will be other feature films this Sunday evening on TNT, including Ibiza (France 2, 9:10 p.m.), Quarter to Two Before Jesus Christ (TF1 Séries Films, 9 p.m.), and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (6ter, 9:10 p.m.). You can also catch up on last week's gems in replay by rereading our previous article here.
