Oppo has just launched this 21& nbsp;November its new Find X8 Pro, a complete and high-tech model that will satisfy more than one. Find out everything you need to know about the latest high-end product from the Chinese manufacturer here.
Released worldwide this Thursday, November 21, the Oppo Find X8 Pro is now available to all buyers looking to get a high-end phone. Because yes, the Chinese manufacturer has made an effort to concentrate all the latest technologies at the heart of its device.
Driven by a highly sophisticated camera and countless AI-powered features, the Find X8 Pro has a number of exciting new features. But what is Oppo's latest gadget really worth? ?
With its Find X8 Pro, Oppo is banking on a much lighter phone, thanks to a thickness of 8.24 mm which allows it to reach a weight of 215 grams. The Chinese manufacturer is aiming for more advanced ergonomics than ever, with the desire to make the handling pleasant, both in terms of weight and touch.
The rear camera, meanwhile, has been significantly refined. 40% thinner than previous generations of smartphones, it once again provides a more pleasant and practical grip.
The Find X8 Pro features an aluminum frame, which provides increased resistance and a certain solidity in the event of an impact. The design, sober, refined and plain, seems timeless and can suit any type of audience.
Built to last, the Find X8 Pro is remarkably strong and durable, thanks to a reinforced glass screen, a robust aluminum alloy and its shock absorption capacity, optimized compared to the Find X7 Pro. Certified IP68 and IP69, the phone can survive after 30 minutes in water at a depth of 1.5 meters and withstand water jets up to 80°C.
The Find X8 Pro is available in two colors with poetic names, with buyers able to choose either the dark and obscure Stellar Black or the light and pearly Pearl White.
The Find X8 Pro's display, which is slightly smaller than its predecessor, measures 6.78 inches, with curved edges on each side. It has a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 450 PPI (Dots Per Inch). Note that the screen resolution, which reaches 2780 x 1264, is slightly down compared to its predecessor, the Find X7 Pro, which displayed 3168 x 1440.
Thanks to its high-frequency AMOLED screen, the Find X8 Pro can run high-definition images without consuming much electricity. Oppo has greatly improved the brightness of its latest phone, with the ability to peak brightness of 4500 nits maximum, surpassing the iPhone 16 and its 2000 nits.
For sensitive eyes, the latest Oppo phone offers three modes: Eye Comfort, Bedtime Mode, and Dark Mode, which soften colors and improve user comfort.
The Find X8 Pro shines above all for its photo quality, thanks to high-performance lenses that can faithfully capture any moment of life. Although the capabilities of Oppo's latest high-tech model are high, the camera does not benefit from any evolution compared to the latest model, the Find X7 Ultra, released in June 2024.
As for selfies, the front camera is capable of capturing images in 32MP. The back of the phone still benefits from four lenses: a main one, an ultra-wide-angle one and two telephoto lenses, each with a 50MP sensor. All four are gathered in a large ring on the back of the phone, a design specific to the Find X series, which certainly doesn't suit some profiles, including gamers.
Like the Find X7 Ultra, the Find X8 Pro promises video quality reaching 4K/1080p in 60/30 fps, for all five lenses of the phone.

The photos and videos taken by the Find X8 Pro user benefit from a range of features, such as Portrait, Night, Hi-Res, Panorama, Slow Motion, Cinematic, XPAN, Timelapse, or still Long Exposure, Dual-View Video, Stickers, and even the Doc Scanner.
The Find X8 Pro's battery, with a capacity of 5910 mA, far outpaces that of the Find X7 Ultra, which only reached 5000 mA. Thanks to fast charging, the phone's energy is quickly restored.
Battery life has been greatly improved, with a capacity of 576 hours, in the event that the phone is left on standby. Owners of headphones will be able to keep their Find X8 Pro at hand for almost 26 hours, a particularly remarkable feat.
Equipped with a USB-C port, the Find X8 Pro also offers a capacity wireless charging.
In terms of performance, the Oppo Find X8 Pro is also well positioned, with a latest-generation Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor. It is also the only smartphone in the world to date with run with such a gadget, with most other brands preferring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The Find X8 Pro benefits from 512 GB of internal memory, double that of the Find X7 Pro, which only supported 256 GB. The RAM of the new Oppo will reach 16 GB.
Users of the new Oppo will unsurprisingly have access to 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Like all new phones, the Oppo Find X8 Pro will give up a lot of space to AI, in the hope of optimizing the experience of its users, and this in many areas.
The camera is probably the application that receives the most features boosted by artificial intelligence, with the addition of AI Editor. AI Editor allows to improve the photos captured beforehand, through four different options:
Many other AI-powered features are scattered throughout the Find X8 Pro. However, all of them are listed in the AI Toolbox, accessible with one click on the smartphone. Thanks to artificial intelligence, Oppo allows you to read a web page aloud while turning off your phone, summarize it in a few lines, reply to a message without user intervention, write a text to from a prompt…
Zoom, a major flaw for many phones, is a major asset for the Find X8 Pro. Boosted by AI, Oppo's latest phone has the ability to zoom up to 60x without deteriorating the quality of the photo. Called AI Telescope Zoom, the Chinese manufacturer's new feature allows users to capture with great clarity distant or even very distant elements.
AI is responsible for analyzing distant details in order to optimize their rendering and refine their contours.
Thanks to the addition of the Quick Button, Oppo is seeking to optimize access to the camera, sometimes too long to capture a specific moment. Similar to the “capture button” of the iPhone 16, this addition allows you to access the camera application (by double-tapping), zoom in and out (by sliding your finger), take a photo (by tapping once)… etc.
The multi-use button, already very practical, plans a future update day intended to optimize it further.
High-end, the technical quality of the Oppo Find X8 Pro is of course felt in the price. Not everyone necessarily has the means to acquire this latest model, which aims for 1,199 euros (charger and cable not included).
