A group of archaeologists discovered ancient burial during construction works in the capital of Bulgaria. Were found four graves, in which were preserved the skeletons of three adults and one child. As reported by Bulgarian Academy of Sciences the graves of almost 8,000 years.
Archaeologists are convinced that this is the most ancient graves in Sofia and the Sofia basin. The settlement Slatine on the territory of which the burial was found to have existed approximately 500 years, from the late seventh to the middle of VI Millennium BC and was probably founded by settlers from Asia Minor.
“Slatina is a very famous settlement in prehistoric science. She is part of the first European civilization”, — said the head of excavations Professor Vasil Nikolov.
The skeletons, Dating from the beginning of the sixth Millennium, however, scientists know very little about the rituals of this period, because this form of burial had never met.
Archaeologists say they found an unusual double grave — probably men with a child. Also found were the remains of a woman buried on her belly and another man, whose body was laid outside the box too — one of his hands remained under the skeleton.

The researchers plan to move their research in the lab. In particular, they want the DNA test to find out whether these people are relatives or not.
