Pascal Obispo didn't expect this. On Monday, January 6, 2024, the singer was a guest on Télématin to take stock of his 30-year career. While he talked about the good as well as some bad memories of his life as an artist, he was surprised to discover the testimony of a certain Nicolas Lacambre. This is a man he saved life a few years ago.

“I just picked up a man on a road. I mostly picked up his arm actually and I pulled him to the side of the road and I called the fire department, that's all. It was a bit complicated picking up a severed arm, which he obviously didn't recover. I did what I thought was the right thing to do, what did not do the person who hit him“, Pascal Obispo told the two presenters of the show Flavie Flament and Julien Arnaud to explain what he represents in his eyes.

Pascal Obispo saved a man's life

“A woman also stopped, we immediately called the fire brigade. I cleared the whole road, so there wouldn't be any other accidents because we were on a national road where there was no light and I left when the firefighters arrived“, the 59-year-old singer recalled. Although he had not heard from the man whose life he probably saved, he had been very happy to find him again a few years ago.

“I found this man a few years later and I discovered that he was on a chair and that he was missing an arm and a piece of a leg.” In his testimony, Nicolas Lacambre wanted to thank Pascal Obispo for allowing him to continue living. “Without you, I wouldn't be here anymore“, he said.

Pascal Obispo took a radical decision

During the same interview, Pascal Obispo explained that he had decided to make a radical decision on the eve of his 60th birthday. “2025 resolution, I'm going to try to keep it. You'll see, it's very, very difficult“, he declared before adding: “I've decided not to take selfies for all my sixties!“. He also made the decision to stop posting photos on Instagram.
