In 2023, Pierre Palmade had caused a terrible car accident. The accident left three serious people injured, including a pregnant woman who lost the baby she was expecting. Before the investigating judge in September 2023, Pierre Palmade also said he was “horrified” by the consequences of the accident he caused. “I ruined the life of a family, I fall asleep and wake up with it”, he said. Following his highly publicized trial, Pierre Palmade was sentenced to a prison sentence. Pierre Palmade receives gifts in prison

Since his arrival at the facility, the 56-year-old actor has been receiving letters (insulting and supportive) and gifts from several people. This situation is proving to be increasingly difficult to manage for the guards whose daily lives are already complicated. The prison union has also “denounced a context that has become both unbearable and unmanageable“, recalled our colleagues at the Journal du Dimanche.

Guards helpless in the face of the situation

The prison staff must also keep a close eye on Pierre Palmade. This requires a lot of time from the guards who are helpless. This treatment would be very different from that given to other convicts in the penitentiary.
