PlayStation Reveals Release Date and Price of PS VR2 Virtual Reality Headset

Sony's new virtual reality headset, the PlayStation VR2, will officially launch on February 22, but it's not for everyone. To get your hands on it, you'll have to shell out $750, even more than the cost of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console it needs to run.
The Games Division video from the Japanese giant indeed announced the price of the PS VR2 on Wednesday, which is in addition to the $650 to pay to obtain the classic PS5 with disc drive (or $520 for its digital version, in which the games are downloaded) .
Basic version of PS VR2 includes headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones. A long-awaited set with the game – Horizon: Call of the Mountainis also available for $820.
In a blog post published on Wednesday, PlayStation also announces the sale of a charging module for the PS VR2 Sense controllers used to release USB ports on the PS5. The advertised price: $65.
To give a preview of the new experiences that video game fans can have with PS VR2, Sony has announced 11 new virtual reality games that will be released next year.
We discover for example Cities VR – Enhanced Edition, a city building game, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection, a foray into the Jurassic Park universe, and the first-person shooter Crossfire: Sierra Squad.
PlayStation promises the release more than 20 titles alongside the launch of PS VR2.
The headset is expected to be available for pre-order starting November 15 in Canada, according to the PlayStation blog post.
