Police operation at Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu: a 19-year-old accused appears

Law enforcement arrested a suspect after establishing a large perimeter around Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The suspect was arrested shortly before 10 a.m., but the lockdown continued for several hours. Students and staff who left behind personal belongings can pick them up between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. ;subject to threats before Friday's intervention.
