Jacek Mazur created the first McLaren F1 clone for himself. The car turned out to be so successful that the Pole began to receive orders for similar supercars.
Jacek Mazur from Poland organized an unusual business. He produces McLaren F1 supercars to order, and put production on stream. The Autoevolution website talks about it.
The Polish master has been into cars since he was young and is a fan of the Top Gear show. His every car is the legendary McLaren F1 supercar – the fastest model of the 90s, capable of reaching 386 km/h.
Of course, not everyone can buy a McLaren F1. Firstly, only 106 of these 627-horsepower coupes were produced. Secondly, the price of McLaren has skyrocketed and sometimes reaches $20 million.
That's why Jacek Mazur decided to build a supercar on his own. It took him 8 years and $33,000 to complete the car in 2014.
The McLaren F1 copy turned out to be very high quality – it repeats the famous supercar in the smallest details. The car is based on a tubular frame, and the panels are made of fiberglass. A three-seater saloon with a driver's seat in the center has also been recreated.
Like the original, the homemade supercar is powered by a BMW V12 engine, but not as powerful. Nevertheless, it is capable of reaching 322 km/h and accelerating to hundreds in 6 seconds.

The McLaren F1 clone turned out to be a frequent guest at various auto shows, the media talked about it more than once. Soon, Jacek Mazur began to be asked to sell the car or build another such replica.
The Pole decided to start producing McLaren. Now they are built to order, and the cost varies from 28,000 to 75,000 dollars, depending on the engine and configuration. Jacek Mazur's company can also recreate other supercars.
