The practical station wagon has joined the BMW M3 range. It is spacious and roomy, but at the same time capable of reaching 280 km/h.
For the first time in the history of the model, the BMW M3 2023 received a family version of the Touring station wagon. It was presented at the Festival of Speed in the British Goodwood, and sales will start in November. This is reported by the official website of BMW.
BMW M3 Touring specifications
The new BMW M3 Touring is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbo six with 510 hp. With. and with a torque of 650 Nm. With an 8-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and its top speed is limited to 280 km/h.
The BMW M3 station wagon is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive and an active rear differential. It has a reconfigured chassis, and carbon-ceramic brakes are available for an extra charge. At the Nürburgring circuit, the car achieved a lap time of 7:35.06, which means it was faster than the BMW M5 and became the fastest station wagon.
BMW M3 Touring design
You can recognize the new BMW M3 Touring, first of all, by the huge “nostrils” of the radiator grille and the aggressive front bumper. In addition, a body kit is provided, and the wheel arches are widened to accommodate wide 19-inch tires. Four exhaust pipes are visible at the rear, and a spoiler is installed on the roof.
The interior of the BMW M3 Touring is trimmed with leather and carbon fibre. The car received a sports steering wheel and bucket front seats. Like all 2023 BMW 3 Series, there is a new curved display on the front panel, and its graphics are special in the M3.
The station wagon remains a practical family car. It is spacious inside, and the volume of its trunk is 500-1510 liters.
