The top-end BMW M760 traded the V12 for a hybrid powertrain. The sedan has become much more economical and can travel up to 85 km on electric power.
The 2023 BMW 7 Series lineup has been replenished with a sports charged version of the M760e xDrive. It will go on sale in Europe from October 12 at a price of 144,000 euros. The details of the novelty were revealed on the official BMW website.
Where the M760 was previously the V12 variant, the plug-in hybrid is now the fastest in the lineup. The new BMW M760e xDrive is equipped with a 3.0-liter petrol turbo six and an electric motor. The total output of the power plant is 571 liters. With. and 800 N∙m.
The all-wheel drive BMW sports sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed limited to 250 km/h. The car is the fastest in the BMW 7 Series G70 lineup, but still somewhat slower than the previous generation M760.
However, the hybrid has another advantage: an 18.7 kWh battery allows you to drive approximately 77- 85 km in electric mode. And the combined fuel consumption is just 1.3 l/100 km.
BMW's Charged Seven is recognizable by its more aggressive front design, body kit and 21-inch wheels. The cabin has a beveled bottom steering wheel. As with all BMW 7 Series 2023, a huge monitor is available for rear passengers.
It is noteworthy that the sedan now has not only a hybrid, but also electrical modification. Its sales will soon start in Ukraine.
