The compact crossover Jeep Avenger debuted in the electric version. The car was equipped with a 156-horsepower engine from the new Peugeot e-308.
The new Jeep Avenger was presented at the Paris Motor Show. The first electric car of the American brand will go into production at the plant in Poland from 2023, but it can be ordered now. This is reported by the official website of the Stellantis concern.
The new Jeep Avenger is a compact 4.1-meter crossover for the city. The model is built on the e-CMP platform, like the Opel Mokka and DS3. Later, its petrol version will appear.
The design of the 2023 Jeep Avenger is muscular and athletic, with flared fenders and sculpted sidewalls. The front end mimics Jeep's signature grille, while the rear door handles are hidden in the roof pillars.
Interior trim is diluted with inserts in body color. The Jeep Avenger crossover received a virtual instrument panel and a touch screen. Buttons are provided instead of the gearshift lever. The rear boot capacity is 380L and the front boot is 34L.
The basic equipment of the Jeep Avenger includes LED headlights, climate control, 18-inch wheels, parking sensors, a rear-view camera and a light sensor. Options include a power tailgate and a semi-autonomous driving system.
A 156-horsepower front-wheel drive variant debuted initially, but an all-wheel drive version should follow later. The Jeep Avenger electric car is equipped with a 54 kWh battery from the Peugeot e-308, and its range is 400 km. Fast charging to 80% takes 24 minutes.
The Jeep crossover, even in the front-wheel drive version, has a clearance of 200 mm, and also received a hill-descent assistance system and a set of modes for different off-road types.
