Ford Kuga has become more expressive in appearance and for the first time received a virtual instrument panel. The crossover will be available in petrol, diesel and hybrid versions.
Ford presented the updated Kuga 2023 model year. The compact crossover has been facelifted and will go on sale from January. Details of the novelty were revealed on the official website of Ford.
The design of the Ford Kuga 2023 and its American twin brother Escape is made in the brand's new style. A wide grille and slanted headlights connected by a diode strip made the crossover look like the new Ford Mondeo. In addition, bumpers and lights have been updated.
The sporty version of the ST-Line features a distinctive grille pattern and body-coloured body kit. In addition, the roof spoiler has been enlarged and new 19-inch wheels have been installed.
The main innovation in the cabin is a modern virtual instrument panel. Also, the crossover received an enlarged 13.2-inch touch screen, new climate control switches. The list of options was replenished with all-round cameras, wireless charging for smartphones and an autonomous obstacle avoidance system.
The engines of the model will remain the same. The new Ford Kuga will be available with 1.5-liter EcoBoost petrol turbo engines with 150 and 182 hp. with., as well as a 2.0-liter 120-horsepower turbodiesel. The American Escape will also be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo four EcoBoost with a capacity of 250 hp. c.
Hybrids will also remain in the line – 190-horsepower standard and 225-horsepower rechargeable. As before, the Ford Kuga crossover will be offered with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
