This summer has been a difficult one for Prince George, as he attended many royal events.

Prince George is nine years old today. On this occasion, his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, published a new photo of their son, demonstrating to fans of the royal family how much the heir to the British throne has grown.

A Focus decided to remember how the previous year of Prince George went, which became one of the important stages of his growing up as a member of the royal family.

    Quite an adult

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rarely appear in public with their three heirs – nine-year-old Prince George, seven-year-old Princess Charlotte and four-year-old Prince Louis. They try to protect them as much as possible from annoying paparazzi, and give them the opportunity to be just children.

However, this summer has become a really busy one for the royal heirs. All together they took part in exhausting adult events on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II. And the eldest son of the Cambridges, Prince George, accompanied his parents – Prince William and Kate Middleton – during other important events.

Unlike the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Prince Louis – for whom adult events were simply unbearable, George behaved well. He steadfastly accepted the jubilee celebrations on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of the monarch, for the first time riding with his younger brother and sister in a carriage during a procession in honor of Elizabeth II. And then he greeted the crowd from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, along with his famous great-grandmother and other members of the royal family. And I enjoyed watching the aviation show, which greatly impressed little Louis, who was forced to cover his ears from the loud noise.

    Still a child

This year, Prince George made his debut at Wimbledon and tried to act like a member of the royal family. He donned a formal suit and tie, waved to players, posed for photographs and even shook hands with tournament chairman Ian Hewitt before the start of the competition. And really enthusiastically watched the game.

Kate Middleton , who loves tennis and attends all important Wimbledon matches, including because the royal family is the patron of the famous tournament, claimed that her eldest son loves this sport and has recently acquired a racket himself. But at some point, the event became too tiring for the heir. And he began to childishly pick his nose with a bored look, hitting the lens of photographers.
