Prince Harry in an interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes as part of a promotional tour of his memoirs, Spare said he did not see himself returning to duty as a member of the royal family.
This interview will be the Duke of Sussex's first US discussion of the book and will be released on the birthday of Princess of Wales Catherine on January 9th. The memoirs themselves will hit bookstore shelves on January 10.
To promote the book in the UK, Harry has already been interviewed by ITV's Tom Bradby, who previously spoke with the Sussexes for the 2019 documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey.
ITV and CBS announced their upcoming interview with Prince Harry on Monday, sharing snippets of the get-together on social media. In the released footage, Harry discusses his decision and Meghan's decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, why he believes “silence is a betrayal” and his thoughts on reconciliation with his father and brother.
Prince Harry and Megan Markle, after the release of the documentary series, was repeatedly accused of deception and twisting of facts, but at court neither the series nor the interview is commented on, continuing to remain silent.
In turn, Meghan Markle and Harry said they wanted to hear from royal family apologies. Such words surprised and discouraged the British royal court.
