The 44-year-old Princess of Monaco, after returning from Switzerland, where she was recovering from an infection in South Africa, is increasingly appearing in public, accompanied by her husband , Prince Albert. The holiday of the National Day of Monaco, which the princess missed last year, was no exception.

Charlene and her husband attended a service in the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Monte Carlo.

For the publication, the princess chose the original long white floor-length cape coat, worn over a black dress with a high neckline. She completed her monochrome ensemble with a black wide-brimmed hat, a pair of black leather gloves, a diamond brooch, and simple pearl drop earrings. For this occasion, the royal chose a classic make-up.

The Prince of Monaco was dressed in a formal suit, in front of his jacket, embroidered in red and gold, was decorated with a number of medals.

In the service, the couple sat next to Princess Caroline of Hanover and Princess Stephanie of Monaco.

Later, the princely couple appeared together with their seven-year-old children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. The girl was wearing a beautiful red coat and a black hat, while the boy was dressed in a military full dress, like his father.

Monaco's National Day is celebrated on November 19 every year. The holiday is also known as the Day of the Sovereign Prince, and the ruling prince chooses the date of the celebration. Traditionally, this is the day of the saint it is named after, but when Prince Albert ascended the throne, he decided to choose the same day as his father, rather than St. Albert's, which would have been November 15.

It is usually celebrated with fireworks over the harbor the evening before and mass at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Monte Carlo the following morning.

The Prince and Duchess are going out together for the second time this week. On November 16, they took part in the Monaco Red Cross gift draw in the run-up to Christmas and spoke with some of the volunteers as well as the families who received the gifts.
