On Saturday, Hélène Dumas and the entire teaching team at Le Bosquet College organized the school's 3rd career forum. More than thirty speakers with eclectic careers came to explain their career paths and the daily life of their work to the 140 3rd year students.
Salesperson, management controller…
“When I was their age, I didn't have the chance to be invited to this type of event, I hope to be able to help them make their choice” specifies Samantha Gérard, a salesperson in the restaurant industry who wanted to meet these young people. “I wanted to introduce the unknown profession of management controller ” explained Benjamin Castanet.
“The profession that you will be doing in 50 years when you retire does not exist today ” explained Aurélien Dumont, wealth advisor, to the middle school students.
At the end of these meetings, the students had to give a report on at least three professions. While it is difficult to project oneself into the future at 15 years old, many students were captivated by their interlocutors.
