According to the porta “Money”, there are many indications that property owners will soon have another obligation. The amendment to the act related to the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings requires the preparation of performance certificates for each building. Unfortunately, drawing up a document will require you to pay a fee ranging from 200 to 500 PLN.

Amendment of the law and new obligation

The amendment is aimed at adjusting Polish provisions to the EU law. Thanks to these changes, we will be able to save energy and reduce the costs of operating buildings. Unfortunately, as a result of the introduction of these changes, property owners must take into account the necessity to fulfill the new obligation and a fee that can reach up to PLN 500.

Property owners will be required to prepare the energy performance of their buildings. In the case of apartments, the cost of preparing the certificate is associated with a fee of at least PLN 200. The owners of single-family houses must take into account an expense of PLN 500 and more.
