A female SNCF train driver was violently attacked this Sunday, December 29 at the Gare de Lyon in Paris.
While the young driver was checking the carriages of her vehicle, a man punched her several times in the face before fleeing, reports the Parisien.

The young woman then reported her attack to the regional police station office in Paris and gave a precise description of her attacker, according to BFMTV.

The attacker arrested
While she was hospitalized at Saint-Antoine hospital, the individual was found and arrested thanks to her indications. After being taken into custody, the man was placed in the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters, explains Le Parisien.
