The surname Vorontsova is mentioned in the list of members of the academic council published by Maria Pevchikh. However, on the official website of the faculty, there is no mention of the appointment of the daughter of the President of the Russian Federation to a new position.
The eldest daughter of the Russian president, Maria Vorontsova, also known as Maria Faassen, has been appointed one of the deputy deans of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine at Moscow State University. This was announced by the head of the investigation department of the team of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Maria Pevchikh.
According to the investigator, Maria Vorontsova was appointed to the position with non-compliance with all necessary procedures.
“Putin's daughter Maria Vorontsova was quietly appointed deputy dean of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Moscow State University,” Pevchikh believes.
She also posted a picture on her Twitter page with members of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine. It also includes Vorontsova.
“Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine, Deputy Dean for Science,” the description says next to the photo of Putin's eldest daughter.
“And you say that young scientists in Russia have no prospects. If I were the dean, I would be tense from the prospects of Maria,” Pevchikh concluded.
Maria Vorontsova is a Russian pediatric endocrinologist, eldest daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Since April 2022, in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it has been under sanctions from the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the imposition of sanctions against the daughters of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both Putin's daughters topped the sanctions list.
