A rare 1997 Mitsubishi Pajero Junior Flying Pug was found in the USA. In total, only 139 of these SUVs were produced and this is the rarest version of the model. This is reported by the Carscoops website.
The compact 3.5-meter Mitsubishi Pajero Junior was produced in 1995-1998. Flying Pug is the original retro version of the SUV. Initially, they planned to assemble 1000 of these cars, but in the end they produced 7 times fewer cars and they were all sold in Japan.
The design of the Mitsubishi Pajero Junior Flying Pug has been redesigned in the spirit of classic British cars such as sports MGs and London taxis. It has a huge chrome grille, round taillights, metal bumpers and flared fenders. The wheels are also retro-styled.
The interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Junior has not changed much, only leather and wood were used in the decoration. The package includes air conditioning and power windows.
The SUV is equipped with a 1.1-liter 80-horsepower gasoline engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is supplemented with a reduction gear.
Now the Mitsubishi Pajero Junior SUV is up for sale for $11,800. It is in good condition despite having driven 236,500 km.
