Renault Alpine will switch to electric vehicles from 2026. Its lineup will be supplemented by an electric sedan and crossover with a range of up to 500 km.
The Renault Group plans to seriously expand the range of the Alpine sports division. It will be supplemented by expensive premium electric models. This became known to the British edition of Autocar.
At the moment, Alpine produces a single model A110, but soon the situation will change. The sports brand will switch to the production of electric cars from 2026, and its lineup will be seriously expanded.
It is known that Renault Alpine electric cars will be built on the CMF-EV platform, used by the new Nissan Ariya and Renault Megane E-Tech. It allows you to create electric vehicles with a range of up to 500 km. According to Autocar, one of the models will be a sleek sports sedan, while the other will be a large, powerful crossover.
In addition, Alpine plans to expand its sales geography. While the brand is now limited to the European market, the new premium electric vehicles will also be available in North America and China.
