The production Renault 4 electric car will appear in 2024. The inexpensive crossover will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 9 seconds, and its range will exceed 400 km.
Renault brought the 4Ever Trophy concept car to the Paris auto show. The electric crossover is the harbinger of the revived Renault 4, according to the official website of the Renault Group.
The crossover is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Renault 4 rally through the Moroccan desert. The electric car was prepared for off-road – it has a high (200 mm) ground clearance and off-road tires in size 255/55 R19. There is also a pronounced plastic body kit, underbody protection and a carbon roof rack.
At the same time, the new Renault 4Ever Trophy by design is very reminiscent of the famous ancestor. The car has a similar silhouette and a familiar angular design with retro-style matrix headlights. But the newcomer is larger in size – 4160 mm long, 1950 mm wide and 1900 mm high.
The power plant for the concept car was borrowed from the Renault 5 and will be used in the production model. Electric motor with a capacity of 136 liters. With. allows you to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 9 s. A 42 kWh battery provides a range of 402 km.
