Next year, we will certainly face a record indexation of retirement benefits.
For many months there has been speculation about the valorization of pensions, which is yet to come in March next year. This is the result of rising inflation, which approached 16 percent during the summer holidays, and an increase in the minimum wage.
Portal & ldquo; MSN & rdquo; reports that next year's indexation will certainly be double-digit and may amount to between 11 and even 16 percent, which was recently suggested by Minister Marlena Maląg and Deputy Minister Stanisław Szwed. It will surely be a significant increase compared to last year, when the index was 7 percent.
Of course, until a decision is made in February 2023, a lot can still change. Usually, however, the predictions are quite close.
The difficult economic situation in Poland is also to reward seniors for additional benefits. In the spring of next year, they will be able to count on the thirteen again, which is guaranteed by the law.
On the fourteen, the decision has yet to be made. The minister of the family, however, assured that the government would like to guarantee this additional benefit to Polish seniors. If this plan were to be implemented, the pensioners would receive the money again at the turn of summer and autumn.
So far, however, fourteen have not been included in the budget assumptions that were announced and transferred to the European Union.
