The new Duster will be built on the modern CMF-B platform, like Renault Captur, Logan and Sandero. It will allow you to slightly increase the size of the motor and apply a number of new technologies.
In particular, the Renault crossover will receive a set of modern security systems. In addition, all versions of the model will become hybrids.
The main engine of the Duster 2024 will be a three-cylinder 1.2-liter TCe petrol turbo engine. It will be complemented by a 48-volt hybrid installation, and the power will be 120 or 140 hp. With. An interesting detail: this motor will also be offered with factory LPG.
Duster hybridization is due to the introduction of more stringent Euro-7 environmental standards from 2025. For the same reason, diesel modifications will disappear from the line.
A choice of 6-speed manual and robotic gearboxes will be offered. All-wheel drive will now be available only with a robot, and an electric motor will be installed on the rear axle of the crossover.
