The Skoda Superb lineup will remain a lifeback and station wagon. In addition to the petrol and diesel versions of the model, two plug-in hybrids will be offered.

Skoda is finalizing the development of the fifth generation of the Superb. The flagship of the Czech brand is undergoing final tests and will debut this year. Information about this appeared in the annual report of Skoda.
Skoda Superb 2023 has already been partially declassified on official renders. The car will retain the familiar faceted design, but at the same time, it will borrow the features of the Skoda Enyaq electric crossover, such as oblong headlights and lanterns.
Like the current model, the new Skoda Superb will be built on the MQB platform and will remain a close relative of the Volkswagen Passat. Both models are planned to be produced at the plant in Bratislava, but if the new VW Passat B9 is available only in the station wagon body, then the liftback will remain in the Superb line.
Skoda Superb 2023 will retain the 1.5 and 2 petrol turbo engines, 0 liter, as well as 2.0-liter turbodiesels, but they will be supplemented by a 48-volt “mild” hybrid installation. In addition, two rechargeable hybrids are expected in the lineup. Superb will be offered with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
