The authorities of the aggressor country Russia for the second time this week expanded the list of so-called “unfriendly countries”. The islands of Guernsey, Maine and the Bahamas were added to the list. This was announced by the government of the Russian Federation on Sunday, July 24.

The Russian side explains that the islands of Guernsey and Man were on the list because they supported the sanctions imposed by the UK.

And the Bahamas introduced a ban on financial transactions with the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance and a number of credit organizations of the Russian Federation.

“According to the presidential decree, Russia, its citizens and companies, regions and municipalities that have foreign currency obligations to foreign creditors in “unfriendly countries” will be able to pay on them in rubles,” the report says.

Recall that in early March, the Russian government approved a list of “unfriendly states”. And that week, five more European countries were added to the list of “unfriendly” countries.
