First of all, you should remember that you should not fry a large number of potatoes at the same time – some will not be fried, and the rest will burn. The shape can be arbitrary – it will not affect the final taste in any way.

But not everyone knows about the next two secrets.

First of all, you need to wash the chopped potatoes well. This will allow to "drive out" extra starch from potatoes.

And then another life hack comes into play. Take a convenient container and send chopped washed potatoes into it. Boil the kettle and pour water over the root crop.

Leave it to “boil'' for literally 5 minutes, dry it and start frying.
